		Eamon Everall was one of the founding members of the first Stuckist group in 1999 and has been a major exhibitor since, as well as participating in Turner Prize demonstrations. His father was in the army and he spent much of his childhood abroad, including the Far East. He currently divides his working week between his studio and as Head of Art in an Adult Centre. He has an MA in Visual Theories. Interests include Buddhism and Tai Chi. He lives in East London on the edge of Epping Forest, where he goes running.
		Eamon Everall pays keen attention to aesthetic, historical and technical theories and knowledge of art, employing these in his work. As much as possible he works from life. Paintings are usually slowly achieved over months or even years with the intention that the viewer will also be able to gain more insight and appreciation of the work over time. There aremany hidden layers and changes behind the finished surface. Cubism is a particularly strong influence, and, like some of the other Stuckists, he develops a visual language in more depth, using it to express his own ideas.
