Eamon
Everall pays keen attention to aesthetic, historical and technical
theories and knowledge of art, employing these in his work. As
much as possible he works from life. Paintings are usually slowly
achieved over months or even years with the intention that the
viewer will also be able to gain more insight and appreciation
of the work over time. There aremany hidden layers and changes
behind the finished surface. Cubism is a particularly strong influence,
and, like some of the other Stuckists, he develops a visual language
in more depth, using it to express his own ideas.
