After
graduating from Westminster Larry was taken under photographer
Platon's wing assisting him on jobs all around the world.
His first magazine commission was for I-D in 1999 (for whom
he remains an active contributor).
Since
then he has gone from strength to strength shooting for GQ,
Dazed & Confused, Collezzione, Black Book and portraits for
The Financial times and The Observer. Larry has been commissioned
to work with several big music artists in the past year such
as Ice-T, Aqualung, Asher D and Richard Ashcroft.
As well
as shooting commercial campaigns for the likes of Paul Smith,
R Newbold and most recently Rude, he continues to pursue personal
projects - recently collecting disturbing,close-up images
of airbourne 'tube dust', as well as continuing to explore
the relationship between human beings and the rest of the
animal world.
Larry
is currently shooting for and working on an exhibition of
his personal work to be held at The Stuckism International
Gallery in Hoxton from 10th - 27th September which is sponsored
by Evisu.
He has
also been chosen as one of Creative Review's 'Creative Futures'
and as such his photography will feature in their exhibition
at The Old Chocolate Factory in Southwark from end of September.
He has been given the opportunity to design one of the Oxford
Street windows of Selfridges to showcase his work from 22nd
September.
