Biography
Sheila
Clark went to Medway College, Foundation Art course, 1979-80,
then Middlesex Polytechnic for a BA (Textiles and Fashion).
1983/4,
she was a member of Group
Hangman along with Billy Childish,
Tracey Emin and Sanchia
Lewis. 1984-86
she was a student at the Royal College of Art.
In
1999, she was a founder member of the first Stuckist art group,
and exhibited in the inaugural show,
Stuck! Stuck! Stuck!, on 16 September 1999 at Gallery
108 in Shoreditch, London. She exhibited in further shows, up
to and including The Stuckists: the First Remodernist Art
Group at the Artbank Gallery, Clerkenwell, in March 2001,
but has not exhibited in group shows since then.
She
works as Yarn Consultant and Buyer at the Royal College of Art.
